Take part in 8 days of festivities from July 19-28! We have put together an amazing line-up of programs: 25 new exciting features; more than 90 short films and music videos; retrospective on legendary HK New Wave director PatrickTam; Screenplay Competition; 72-Hour Film Shootout screening; Comics Writers panel; 70s theme party; and much much more!

GENERAL ADVANCE TICKET SALES will begin June 18. The 30th AAIFF will run July 19-28 at the Asia Society (725 Park Avenue at 70th Street).

AAIFF pays tribute to the trailblazing HK director Patrick Tam whose first film in 17 years, AFTER THIS OUR EXILE, swept all the major awards at the recent HK Film Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. Our retrospective includes two rarely-seen classics that helped launch the HK New Wave, THE SWORD and NOMAD, and One on One live stage conversation with Patrick in person.
