personal messageLittle Info about me: Hi! Names Kevin and I am a recent grad. I am 23, and i kno I do look older than that, but i really am 23 and have the date on my Driver's license and BC to prove it =P. I'm the kind of person who sees and notices things the common person wouldnt see. I currently work for an Environmental Company as an Environmental Compliance Specialist. Great company and lots of room to move up in the company =). When I was in college, I never spent spring break doing college "spring break" things. I always spent my week volunteering with a team of people to places such as San Francisco, Sacramento, Ensenada Mexico, New Orleans, and recently this summer I was able to have a great experience in Southwest China and Thailand. It is amazing the kind of things you can learn, see, and experience on a trip where its not about you, but about serving those around you. I'm the type of person who doesn't really care about what others think of him. I prefer to not get alot of attention, but rather be off to the side or behind the scenes. Yet i still love being around people, especially after graduating, it isnt as easy to find someone to hang out with. But yah, go ahead and hit me up because I always love to meet new people and make new friends. Waiting to hear from ya! and yes...i do drive a BMW, a 2001 330i but not like im trying to flaunt it....ill prob trade it in next year for a hybrid =D. RANDOM thoughts: I'm moving to Emeryville, CA! NY was fun! Had a good and crazy time! recent blog postsFood Review - The Oceanaire (Downtown San Diego)Posted July 19th, 2008 at 07:25pm
There is only one of these in the state of California and it's located in the heart of Downtown San Diego near the gaslamp district.
This is a very classy and low light restaurant that specializes in their fresh variety of fish from around the world served a le carte with sides costing extra. This is the only place that i have seen Wahoo and Moonfish on the menu and I know most people would not even know what those fish look like. Price Range: $25-$70 There is a a three course combo meal for around $25 that will get you a cup of New England Clam Chowder, choice of 3 main course meals, and a choice of one of 3 desserts. All the fish come a la carte, so if you want sides, plan to share them with someone because they come in big portions. (we did not even finish our 2 sides ordered with a party of 8) Dress: Casual Dress This has surpassed all of my favorite seafood restaurants that I have previously tried and it was a great experience to try exotic fish tastes that have never touched my adventurous palet. If you are looking for the best food in town and you love seafood, this is a must stop especially if you have no budget. It is good for groups as well as romantic dates, be sure to ask about the Baked Alaska for dessert and make reservations before you come because it is a packed house. The bread and Clam choweder were great as well. I always compared clam chowder to The Fish Company clam chowder and i would have to say it doesn't top it, but it is very close in quality and taste. I like to say that you know how good a place is by their bread or rice (rice for sushi places). Pictures:

I'm Yours (Remembering the Memories)Posted December 20th, 2007 at 08:06pm So the song that you are currently listening to has been around for quite some time, probably about 1.5 to 2 years. A song by Jason Mraz. This song will always been deep in my heart and I will never get sick of it. It isnt your typical "pop" song with terrible lyrics and its just so fun to sing to. For me, this song has MEMORIES attached. So many memories from the past 2 years in my junior and senior year at UCI. Memories of singing in my quadruple room (yes, that is 4 guys in one room), pulling out a guitar and having fun trying different ways of singing this, singing it for the girls on Sisters Appreciation Night, singing at the top of my lungs in my car by myself or with friends, watching the wedding music video on WongFu Productions over and over again cuz it was the perfect video for a wedding, and much much more. Basically this song, along with a few other songs ["Majesty" (Delirious) and "You're Everything" (by my friend and 1 of my role models, DK)] are songs that bring tears to my eyes because of the great experiences and memories that they bring back to my mind and that I am so thankful for. Good memories are something to keep in your head forever and no one can take them away from you. Do you have those kind of songs? that bring GREAT memories? It's always great to sit down and play those songs once in a while to remember those memories and enjoy what God has given you in your life. =) |
