Once upon a time there was a injured duck. He needed to get home across a huge pond. He was unable to swim. He came to edge of the river and saw how far it was to travel. Then he saw a fox. The fox licked his lips and asked if he could help duck across. Duck was scared.

Endless Pain

I've come so far from where I used to be, Then why is it still not enough? I fought off the pain. Then it returns to torture me. Does it not know it needs to leave? How can pain bring me to tears almost daily? How long can I pretend to be brave and fight on. I want to just relax. Breathe now and soothe my mind. Crashing into me the pain returns.
