where monkeys leap from tree to tree

water drips from the banana leaves

a place where children play happily

chase each other down dirty streets

laughing smiles painted on carefree faces

kicking a soccerball with bare dirty feet

the dull glaze in your crazy eyes belie the beauty hidden inside
other guys wonder why you act so shy and deep down it makes you want to cry
so you try to raise your self esteem by watching yoga and richard simmons DVDs
watching what you eat with less carbs and more meat but the fact is you are unique like vanilla nice and sweet

Just had an interesting discussion that got me to pondering, why do people say nice guys finish last? and is it true?It certainly seems true doesn't it?

i know from firsthand experience that sometimes it is true. Being nice from the very start usually doesnt work because Niceness can be either be percieved as Weakness or Desperation, either of which is a severe turn off for any woman.
