Just another guy trying to make it in life. The past seven years of my life have been interesting. I've been attending college on and off due to the military and finance. Every time I start doing well, something always comes up. I either put myself in debt or the military calls on me to go somewhere. The unit i was in is a medical unit, so we are all over the place doing peace time as well as combat missions overseas. I was for a long time upset with myself due to the fact that all my friends are done with college and are now working in their career field and I myself just started school. I wish I would have gone straight to college instead of join the military, but now that I look back I am happy with the choices that I have made. It made me into who I am today. I've seen so much and have experienced so much in just a short period of time and at such a young age. I guess the military helped me out. I am now in school to become a firefighter and at the rate that I am going I should be done in about a year and a half to two years with a degree in Fire Tech. I work as a front desk clerk at a hotel in Fontana and plan on leaving in a few months so that I can focus my attention on school. Thanks to the military and being a veteran school is pretty much paid for.
