Tid Bits...

I was born in Saigon, Vietnam. Came over to Melbourne, Australia and have been raised there since I was 2 yrs old.
I am currently embarking on an awesome personal experience to work/travel in the UK and also explore Europe/the world for a year or so...I arrived on July 2nd 2008 and it's been mixed emotions...everyone knows about London's weather, it hella suxxxxxx!!! If you're not careful, you can easily fall into a mental and emotional depression!
I haven't as yet travelled as much as I hoped to but my first trip is Paris! Anyways this whole move is what I need to do, hope it makes me become stronger...I'm hoping my year here will pass by quick as I can't wait to go either Canada or USA for my next venture!!!
I've been really hurt before so in a way I've sort of given up...as the quote goes: "Love isn't something you find. Love is something that finds you. - Loretta Young"...so I'm hoping for my "SUPERMAN" to find me as I do wish to settle down after most of my travels...but currently I'm focused on my career and travelling more so...
Will I find love on AA? lol who knows...but there's nothing wrong with that at all...just have to be extra careful...fake personas everywhere...IF I do, then I'll make sure to do a post on "How I met the love of my life on AA"...im serious! LOL

I am: Ambitious and serious. Nice, sassy, intelligent, sexy, irresistable. Loves to teach and be taught. Sensible and traditional/conservative. Likes order and routine. Likes to criticize. Hardworking and productive. Only act when I fully understand what I'm expected to do. Likes getting hands dirty and working hard. Compassionate. Smart, neat and organized. Sensitive and has deep thoughts. Knows how to make others happy. Extremely fun. Loves to joke. Quiet unless excited or tensed. Rather reserved. Insightful and thoughtful about my approach to matters. Focused. A little on the shy side. I might be quirky, but strangely alluring. Highly attentive. The passionate lover. Warm fuzzy heart. Resistant to illnesses but prone to colds. Loves children. Homely person. Loving and loyal. Has great social abilities yet easily jealous. Is prepared to wait, very stubborn and persistent. Patient and understanding. Hopeless romantic. Money cautious, can budget successfully. Attracted to the outdoors and feel an affinity with nature. I should learn to be more flexible and be nice to myself. Calm, relaxed person that takes life in stride. I'm an honest person who values the truth and is sometimes willing to make sacrifices in order to uphold it. According to an email, I'm great at expressing myself and can be at my best when articulating my ideas or communicating with others; this really draws people to me.

I just wonder if anyone can really handle the real me? I think very unlikely. People can only cope with so much about you. Patience is limited. The interest they have in you varies upon the way you represent yourself to them.

Life is too short to wake up with regrets.
So love the people who treat you right.
Forget about the ones who don't.
Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.
If it changes your life, let it.
Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

The best relationships develop between people who are independent, with a solid sense of themselves, yet are prepared to be interdependent with one another.

What greater thing is there for two human souls that to feel that they are joined... to strengthen each other... to be at one with each other in silent unspeakable memories. - George Eliot

My good friend, M was inspired by the film "Amelie". He came up with his own interpretation of what beauty meant to him...

beauty... author: mlshp

It's so wonderful that just by listening to the different sound tracks on the CD I can totally imagine the scene in each moment. Special key frames each musical note brought, it's a true mesh of beauty. Then I was thinking what beauty meant because I was asked a similar question before. What is beauty and how do I define beauty. The first thing I thought of, if I was to describe someone as beautiful, how would I do it?

Beauty, it's shaped by their heart. What I mean is, if one has a big heart and if he/she has practiced that all through their life, it'll personify to her physical outward self. And I think that's especially true when you can see that in a person's face, you can see the sweet kindness in their eyes. When you look deep in them, you can feel the warmth and a glimpse of their heart.

That's what I wrote. But now thinking back, if something is beautiful, it's not only pretty for that moment, it's supposed to stay beautiful because it carries the truth. So I feel that if you ever call someone beautiful, they should always remain beautiful to you! For sure beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I do believe that we need to see clearly into that person's heart to see what beauty is. (This might take time) So I don't think we can just say someone is "beautiful" at first glance.

I think ultimately when you say someone is beautiful; the goodness of their heart glooms and surrounds their physical embodiment. When you are close to this aura, it inspires you, makes you heart ache because you find it amazing to be so close to this circle of realism. After a span of time, you realize that this person is real, that nothing is fake, that life is exactly what it is and it's every ounce of authenticity. It reaches your heart, makes you want to do good, makes you want to be better, and yes...makes you want to be a better person. You draw strength from this being whose beauty is so concentrated, you feel that just by being with this person, observing, appreciating as it is, you are already a better person.

But let there be spaces in your togetherness, and let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love: Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls. - Kahlil Gibran

Why People Come Into Your Life...

A perspective on relationships and prayer.

People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend, and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.

When people come into your life for a SEASON, it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person/people (anyway); and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

PRAYER:
May today there be peace within you.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing that you are a child of God.
Let His presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, and to bask in the sun.
It is there for each and every one of you.

God Bless
