Hi. My name is Stephen. Always difficult to describe myself, but I'll try my best lol. I was born and raised in Southern California and spent most of my life on the coast. I moved to Las Vegas 10 years ago from San Diego after finishing law school.... I do miss San Diego. I wish I could say I am the man who created post it notes, that I am a fugitive from Peru, a freedom fighter from Rwanda, the man who ended McCarthy's political witch hunt, a skilled cage fighter, the person responsible for the demise of the former Soviet Union, or the real geniuous behind Girls Gone Wild lol. However, I can say that I am a person that does not have much patience for stupidity, ignorance, intolerance, stagnation, and Jerry Springer Fans (just kidding). However, as Voltaire most elegantly articulated, "I may disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." This very quote was one of the reasons that motivated me to go to Law School in 1994, and gave me the drive to graduate in 1997. I believed then, and I still believe that the protection of our constitutional rights is a paramount concern. The constitution was always meant to protect the unpopular, or those who are not in power. If the rights of society's most vulnerable members are denied, everybody's rights are imperiled. You should never worry about what other people think of you, or what others will think of your opinion. Although I still love the law, I decided that a career in Education mangement was more my calling. The quote that I stated above from Voltaire sums up alot about me, as I do tend to analyze, and evaluate both sides of a controvery. Besides that, think about how boring life would be without unpopular or controversial viewpoints. Can you imagine only receiving one version of any facts or hearing the same opinion over and over. Come to think of it, I think this describes the current state of our media lol.... I say abandon conventional thought and think outside the box, always question authority, be suspicious of any laws that takes away your rights, stand behind individual liberties even during times of national emergency, and more importantly just say "no" to Big Government .... just say "no" to Reality Television .... just say "no" to Panda Express .... and just say "no" to Crack lol.
