I like to keep things interesting. i go to a lot of parties, open mics (where i perform poetry every now and then), concerts (mostly metal, orchestra and, underground hip hop), beaches, and breweries (not bars, but every now and then i'll go).
I spin fire, and i bike a lot on the lake shore drive trail. nature calms me down and a few of my favorite spots in chicago is northerly island, the question mark pier on montrose beach, millennium park, the garfield park conservatory, the botanical garden, and the house of blues.
Music is insanely important to me. i listen to everything from classical to metal, from soft rock to reggae, from ambient to jazz, and from punk to alternative. i listen to everything else, but metal is what really touches my heart.
i not only listen to metal, but i weld it, rivet it, bend it, melt it, pour it, die it, charge it, tap it, file it, cut it, joggle it, countersink it, torque it, and drill it. I LOVE WHAT I DO. i study aviation maintenance, and i love to fix aircraft. there is something really calming about welding, and electricity. it gives you a sense of power being in control of the elements, and doing something useful with it.
i'd like to go out dancing more than i do. i'll enter the club scene to dance, but that scene is definitely not mine. i'm a little old school remembering back in the day dancing in run down warehouses after a driving through a few checkpoints. where kids where more responsible with their bodies and the party was about the movement of your soul, and not about picking up ladies for a night. so i'd like to find someone who can dance, or would like to find the movement of their soul.
the good thing about chicago is that you can find somewhat authentic food from any corner of the world. i'm not picky about my food and i love to try new things, especially delicacies from the other side of the planet that we in america find disgusting.
there is always something to do, even if it's absolutely nothing but just in a cool place. the people you are with dictate the course of the day.
