personal message

Isaac grew up on the South Side of Chicago where he learned the value of faith and government. In his early teens, Isaac developed an affinity for personal responsibility negotiating and securing a job at the local neighborhood store at the age of 13. Later, he worked two jobs while pursuing his undergraduate degree.

Isaac graduated from Illinois State University (ISU) with a degree in Information Systems. At ISU, Isaac was a leading voice for African American students, participating in the Black Student Union. He also became an entrepreneur, producing music and selling it on campus.

After graduating from college, Isaac entered the service, sales, and mortgage industries. At APAC Customer Service he received Sales Person of the Year honors. At ABN AMRO Mortgage he quickly rose in the company serving as the Assistant to the Vice-President. Today, he serves on staff as a full-time Youth Minister and Ministry Planner for the Apostolic Church of God.

At age 26, Isaac started Heat on the Street Ministries to provide moral stability to young people who choose a life of crime. He has provided exceptional service by helping hundreds of young people find meaning and purpose in life. He has also visited juvenile correctional facilities and schools.

As a political strategist, Isaac helped Antoine Members (R) raise close to half a million dollars in his 2008 Congressional Campaign. He has always been available to help underserved and underprivileged communities. His most recent service has led him to fighting for a moratorium on Chicago Public School closings, fighting against the closing of four Chicago South Side mental health centers, and working to help ex-offenders become entrepreneurs.

Rev. Hayes has been exceptionally engaged in everything he has taken on and those he has served have been the beneficiaries of his hard work.

Isaac resides in the Village of Park Forest with his wife Latouna.

FAR LEFT ABANDONING PELOSI-CARE -- EVEN JESSE JACKSON JR.'S SISTER

Posted November 03rd, 2009 at 12:23pm

CHICAGO -- You know the "public option," otherwise known as socialized medicine, is in trouble in the Congress when even the liberal sister of radical left-wing Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. is distancing herself from the legislation.

"Yesterday, WVON’s talk show host, Santita Jackson, admitted on her show that she too was 'wary' of the 2,000 page health care bill," says Rev. Isaac C. Hayes, the GOP nominee for Congress in IL-2... (continue reading)

Public Option, Health Care DMV

Posted October 27th, 2009 at 11:48am

If the Public Option is anything like what I experienced yesterday at the DMV (which I suspect), please call the insane asylum.

Yesterday, I had to update my driver’s license. A pragmatic, streamliner like me figured that I would be in and out of the DMV in no more than twenty minutes. I would go in, update my address, give the camera a nice face to photograph (lol), and then return back to work. Well so much for dreaming.

$1 Trillion Gamble

Posted October 23rd, 2009 at 12:01pm

The latest push to force the public option on the American healthcare system is a last ditch effort by the Radical Left (i.e., Pompous Pelosi and the Congressional Crack Caucus) for a single-payer system. What’s so bad about the government running our health care system? Everything.

Dare I mention dash-for-clunkers (car sales have now plummeted), the U.S. Post Office (billions of dollars in the red), or Medicare/Medicaid? Since we are talking about health care let’s look... (continue reading)
