Description:
The Sales Engineer, Automation & Information Solutions is responsible for the development and implementation of sales strategies and plans to acquire new business for assigned solutions and services to meet or exceed annual sales goals and grow market share. The individual is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships at assigned accounts and engaging with distributors to ensure effective and efficient utilization of resources.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience is required. Additional business related degree and/or experience is a plus.Minimum of 5 years related experience in technical sales is required, or graduate of the RA sales training program.Competencies & Skills Comfortable selling at multiple levels in the org. Establishes trust and credibility at high level. Engages early in the Sales cycle (uses CCS. Financial and operational expertise. Deeper business knowledge. Resource management - pursuit teams. Understanding of Manufacturing and operations. Runway skills, understands how projects are funded and executed. Ability to influence and coordinate resources (that dont report to you). Strong influence skills. Can clearly articulate TCO story (OEM). Technical acumen - IA / safety Black Belt capable. Domain expertise in applications, products and services.
