We are currently looking for a Technical Training Instructor with experience as a Substation Journeyman Electrician to deliver our safety and technical service training programs to Apprentice and Journeyman Electricians at the Materials Distribution Center in Henderson, CO. As a Training Instructor, you will have the opportunity to:



Impart your significant experience and professional knowledge as a Substation Journeyman Electrician to like-minded professionals and aspiring professionals.
Develop and deliver safety, energy delivery and other technical oriented training programs while continually evaluating content and effectiveness.
Consult with customers to provide safety and technical training process improvement techniques.
Develop measurement tools and methodology that determine training program impact and return on investment. 

Minimum Requirements



4+years of practical experience as a Substation Journeyman or equivalent educational or work experience.
Valid Commercial Drivers License/CDL
Meet regulatory requirements and/or DOT screening processes
Comprehensive understanding of industry standard safety policies and regulations including OSHA/EPA/DOT procedures and practices.
Ability for local travel and occasional overnight stays

Skill Preferences


Our most successful Technical Trainers have some or all of the following skills:



Previous experience in creating and delivering technical training programs
Experience in power generation, transmission and distribution
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Experience in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint. 
Experience in project management
