TYPE OF ARTIST: Music Producer, Writer
As a genuine lover of music and sound, I literally listen to just about everything. You never know what will inspire you. Music genres that I enjoy range anywhere from hip-hop, to alternative, to r&b/soul, to gospel, to reggae, to Bollywood tunes, to j-pop or k-pop...I seriously listen to it all! Needless to say my creativity in music production could not be isolated to one genre. I produce a multitude of sounds which include: hip-hop,trip-hop, r&b, techno, trance, dance, house, and pop. My style varies as well from sample-heavy super produced tracks, to a more minimalistic approach created from scratch.

FAV'S IN THE IPOD RIGHT NOW: Robin Thicke's "Something New" album; Amerie's "Because I Love It" album; Ayo's "Joyful" album; MIA's "Kala" album; Estelle's "Shine" album; Bob Sinclair's "World Hold On"; Kanye's "Heartless"; Kevin Rudolf ft. Lil' Wayne's "Let It Rock"; TI's "Whatever You Like," & TI ft. Rihanna's "Live Your Life" are all definite favs right now.
MOST SILLY SONGS IN THE IPOD RIGHT NOW: Rod Lee's "Dance my pain away (I got problems)"; and Tom and Jerry's "Crambone" song (it cracks me up everytime!).
ASSESSMENT ON MUSIC TODAY: I've definitely been in throwback mode lately, listening to stuff like: Sade, Chante Moore, Earth Wind & Fire, Luther Vandross, Minnie Ripperton, Sam Cooke, Denise Williams, The Cranberries, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Busch, Nirvana, and Greenday (gotta love the old Dookie album!). I've been on a Robert Miles kick; The high energy sounds of Perfume have been key on those seemingly very long, drawn-out days (my favs being "perfect style," "electro world," & "Polyrhythm"); I've also been having Utada Hikaru's "Simple & Clean" & "Sakura Drops" & One Tym's "One Love" in heavy rotation lately. What's the deal with all the oldies? Maybe it's because in my opinion, originality right now is at an all time low. Everybody seems to jump on the bandwagon of what's hot at the moment and the result is everything sounding the same. I just wanna go back to the days of true artistry and good music.
