Lately, people get too involved with this four-lettered word.  We feel that we are in love in these new relationships but later to realize that it was an infatuation. What's the difference between Love and Infatuation?  Most of us strive to divide between the two.

Infatuation is based on physical attraction.  It has an element of sexual excitement. Infatuation is being obsessed, lust, passionate, and rarely does it last.  Those relationships can never withstand the trials and tribulations of life.

Love means trust. You are calm, secure and unthreatened.  Love is the quiet understanding and mature acceptance of imperfection.  It is real.  It gives you strength and grows beyond you.

Infatuation on its own doesnt last, but love does....

I'M OFF TO ATHENS, GA

I finished watching 'Just Friends' starring Ryan Reynolds and Amy Smart.  And it got me thinking, can guys and girls be just friends?

I have a friend whose been hinting to me that he wants more then friendship. I was afraid of this.

One of the main reason, is the belief that all men view girls as sexual objects.  A combination of physical attraction and lust can make a person curious.

Second, is being comfortable with each other.  I been told that some people fall in the comfort zone where they know each other well. They rather feel safe then go through the turbulence of dating.

And last but not least, is having the other person grow on you like a fungus. 

I prefer keeping our boundaries and having a strong friendship instead.  Unless, the guy looks like Ryan Reynolds.  I might have to rethink about it.
