ah so u've spoken to him before, then? my friend was a graphic design major and she loved being in his classes. She kept talking about him. that's cool that you'd like to learn more about filmmaking. have you ever shot anything on your own and edit the footage together? I hear a lot of firms spanning from graphic design to advertising, looking for filmmakers. the whole art of video is becoming a big thing now and many nonfilm companies are looking into expanding by integrating their work with video. I think it's cool! i'm def open to freelance work. There are lots of studios on the west coast that i'd like to try and work for but as of now, for NYC, there's green street films, ithink, 40 acres and a mule, and another company which i forgot the name. I have to re-research on production companies. But my friend, who works for a GD firm, tells me that a lot of filmmakers come in for interviews at her firm. I'm not sure what kinds of houses (non film) i'd be interested in. I'm very open, though. what's the name to your firm?
lol appreciate u getting back to me =D. advertising, eh? very cool. I was just at a show for a Mr. James Victore last week or two. Have u ever had classes with him? I've never - because i graduated film/video lol but i think there were some advertisement majors there. life after graduation is scary haha. Still lookin for a job - but i have a few interviews this week, so i'm psyched. I've been writing some scripts and treatments. What about you? working for any big firm?
