Angel Eyes

Staring deep into her eyes
I relive our days before
Like mirrors they reflect sunrise
But reveal another door
To places we all fantasize
About in silent dreams
As Angels shape and compromise
The visions that I see
So I hold her even closer
For the chance that I may hear
The whisper of an answer
Her last breath upon my ear
As life keeps complicating
Its death thats will remind
That we're the ones left waiting
Still trapped within our time
It will only last a second
So I dare not turn away
While selfishly I beckon
For me to take her place
Then lovingly I kissed her
For it seemed they heard my cry
Her tears fell to a whisper
As she slowly closed my eyes
