I will never buy another banana split....

So lately, my appetite for soft serve ice cream has been insatiable. And today I had a pretty rough day so I figured the perfect end to a not so good day would be some soft serve, right? WRONG!! So I go to Dairy Queen which I must say being the connoisseur that I am has the best S.S. in town (at least in this town) anyways...so I order a large cone, but at last minute decide 'why not go big, get a banana split'!

Well first of all it seems to be an act of congress whenever I order a banana split because people just can't grasp the fact that I don't want chocolate syrup on it. After explaining and re-explaining: EXTRA nuts, NO cherries, NO whip cream, and most importantly NO CHOCLATE SYRUP; the lady finally understands what I want. No matter how I say it I always get the same blank stares. I mean really folks how hard is it to put nothing but nuts, pineapple, and strawberry topping on three mounds of ice cream????????????? GOOD GOD!

So when I do finally get the banana split, tell me why it is almost completely melted and looks as though it was made for a small child. As if I requested a junior portion or something! I am not exaggerating. And anyone who knows me KNOWS that I hate melted ice cream!!!(It is such a waste, its called ice cream not HOT cream!) I would have to say I hate melted ice cream almost as much as I hate school zones and pedestrian crosswalks. = ) But I digress ..

Uggh at this point I had had it! I was fed up. I am so tired of getting refunds for ill-prepared banana splits. I'm done with them. Finished. Over. Fin. I refuse to order another banana split from this day forth. I'm telling you this is not an isolated incident. I will not bore you with my many other banana split horror stories, but yeah so no more. I refuse to waste good money on something that is always going to get screwed up!

hmmm, well i have never been that big on patriotism for a number of different reasons (that I won't get into here), but I must say what in the world is wrong with team USA this go around at the olympics?? You know if you want something done right you have to do it yourself! So it looks like I'm going to have to book my ticket for Beijing tomorrow and go over there and get USA some gold! Now if I could only figure out where I put my passport.... ; P
