I won my first radio-show award!

So, my station had it's 2010 Annual Awards Gala this past Saturday.

I was up for 2 awards : 1) Best Hip Hop Show and 2) Best Specialty show.

I won the latter and thought I was gonna win "Best Hip Hop show" as well.

When they were announcing the nominees, my show got the largest amount of applause, but they decided to give the award to someone else. All good. We will get them next time!

And with upcomming new 2010 releases from Dumbfoundead, Far East Movement's Interscope debut, Masia One's first commercial US release, Jin with 1 US and 2 HK albums, the new Magnetic North/Taiyo na collab album on the horizon, I will have plenty of great material to help land that award!

But still, it's been less than a year and already my first award :)

This is a sign of good things to come!
