Everyone has sayings, and quotes that they are known for repeating. Sometimes the quotes are for fun, for inspiration, sometimes they are for consoling and encouragement. Some are just explaining life's obvious occurrences. Feel free to add your own, but heres the compilation of my more favorite sayings/quotes:

"...love ain't somethin' lak uh grindstone dat's de same thing everywhere and do de same thing tuh everything it touch. Love is lak de sea. it's uh movin' thing, but still and all, it takes its shape from de shore it meets, and it's different with every shore." - novel: Their Eyes Were Watching God

This remind of all the book I had to read from a summer reading list for school long time ago. Wow someone in a reflective mood and I wonder why ? Poems and quotes is one of highlight of the English language but you know what I like more is "PROVERBS" (Those who are lost never question a path and a drowning man doubt not the shallows.. ) Hehe
