the thing about love is that you give more of your heart & soul when you fall hard. it's like you have to go in with two feet to know truly what love is, but at tha same time you can get eaten alive.

we crave it. we yearn for the understanding & the fulfillment it gives us. belonging, purpose, self worth. we yearn for it, that security, that touch, that comfort.
falling in love with someone allows you to trust someone enough to consider them you're equal, your other half, as well as someone who can cut at the most sensitive parts of you.
like a crack addict seeking his next fix, love is an addiction that we cannot control.
